Day 01: Arrive MumbaiCultural Trip Agra Jaipur
Arrive Mumbai by flight. Upon arrive, you will bw met after clearing immigration, customs and then transfererred to hotel. Check-in. check-in time 1200 hrs. Afternoon:city tour of Mumbai - Our frist stop is at Bombay's landmark the Gateway of India, an elegant 26 mtrs stone archway, hastily erectedas a symbol of welcome to Queen Mary and King George V of England on their visit to India in 1911. In the years following, artisans added decorative carving and lovely Jharokha work ( window carvings ), and completed it in 1923. We continue to the hanging gardens perched above Malabar Hill. These terraced gardens provide a beautiful panoramic view of the Arabian Sea were laid out in the early 1880s covering Bombay's main reservoir. Continue to Mani Bhavan, Mahatma Ghandhi's home and Museum. This charming, 3 storied Gujarati House, painted brown and yellow, in a lovely Parsi neighbourhood on Malabar Hill, was home of Mahatma Ghandhi from 1917-1934. Now overseen and maintained by the Ghandhi Institute, it houses a library and a small museum about Ghandhi;s life and birth. You can visit Ghandhi's room, where his simple belongings are displayed including his personal Bible, Quoran and Gita. After singhtseeing, drive back to hotel for Overnight at hotel

Day 02: MumbaiCultural Trip Agra Jaipur
After breakfast, excursion to Elephanta caves: A must for any visitor to India. Go across the harbour by Motor Lunch to visit this Mute testimony of the Golden Age in Indian history during the Gupta period and built to honour Lord Shiva. Elephanta is a 3 kms long elongated, consisting of two hills separated by a valley. The caves with rock-cut figures and carvings are believed to be carved by the sculptors of Ajanta or Udayagiri. ( closed on Mondays ). after the excursion, back to the hotel. Afternoon, free at leisure for independent activities. Overnight at hotel

Day 03: Mumbai / Aurangabad Flight
Following breakfast, transfer to airport and opon arrival you will be transferrsd to your Hotel. Check-in at hotel. Afternoon, excursion to Ellora Caves: Impressive in thieir own right is the rock-hewn temples and monasteries of Ellora that lie just 30 km away from Aurangabed city. In all, there are 34 cave temples, 12 Mahayana Buddhist caves ( 550-750 AD ), 17 Hindu caves ( 600-875 AD ) and 5 caves of the Jain faith ( 800-1000 AD ) 22 more caves, dedicated to Lord Shiva, were recently discovered. Kailas Temple ( caves 16 ), the central attraction at Ellora, is the most remarkable. Chiseled by hand from a single massive rock, it includes a gateway, pavilion, courtyard, vestibule, sanctum, sanctorum and tower which bear testimony to the excellence of dravidian art. It is believed ti have taken 7000 laborers, working in continuous shifts and 150 years to build. Ever since the frist European visitors in 18th Century, Ellora has attracted chroniclers, antiquarians, scholars and in more recent years, ever-increasing number of tourists. Overnight at hotel

Day 04: Aurangabad / Ajanta / AurangabadCultural Trip Agra Jaipur
After breakfast, full day excursion to Ajanta: Full day excursion to Ajanta caves: Nestling in an inner fold of the Sahyardi hills, 100 km from Aurangabad in the shape of a mammoth horse-shoe, are the 30 rock-hewn caves of Ajanta. The Caves data from the 2nd century BC. discovered in 1819 by a group of British army officers, these startling achievements took around 600 year to create. Carved with little more then a hammer and chisel, Ajanta, once the retreat of Buddhist monastic orders features several 'chaityas' (chapels) and 'viharas' ( monasteries ). The exquisite wall and sculptures of Buddha's life are famous throughout the world as tha earliest and finest examples of Buddhist pictorial art. Overnght at hotel.

Day05: Aurangabad/Mumbai/Goa
Following breakfast, transfer to airport for your flight to Goa via Mumbai. (Transit at Mumbai) Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Check-in at hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure to enjoy the beach. Overnight at hotel.

Day06/07/08: Goa (03 days)
Morning leisurely breakfast, later full day free beach activities Overnight at hotel

Days09: Goa/ Mumbai/ Cochin flight.Cultural Trip Agra Jaipur
Following breakfast, transfer to airport for your flight to Cochin via Mumbai. (Transit at Mumbai) Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Check-in at hotel. Evening witness of Kathakali Dance:

A Special treat awaits us this evening as we proceed to witness the strenghts and vigor of Kathakali dance drama, as it enacts episodes from great Indian epics. The extremely stylized gestures, the eleborate make-up, tha masks and the splendid costumes of these all-male dancers, reacretes an incomparable sense of pageantry.
Overnight at hotel.

Day10: Cochin/Periyar
Following breakfast tour of Cochin city: With its wealth of historical associations, and its magnificent setting on a cluster of island and narrow peninsulas, Cochin is one of the most fascinating cities of South India. It is a city with indelible marks of Christianity, Islam, Hinduism and Jewish traditions. Of cpecial mentions is the older parts of the Fort Cochin area. It more or less exists at it used to be a 1000 year behind our times. This part of the city reflect an unusual blend of medieval Portgal, Dutch and English country life grafted on to the tropical Malabar Coast. The 16th century collections from the Royal traditions of the region. The unique feature of Cochin is the unexpected and isolated Jewish community, whose origins date back to AD 52. They are self-contained and have there own Synagogue. The area around the Synagogue, known as 'Jew Town" is one of the main centres of spice trade. Scores of small firms huddle togather in old dilapidated buildings and the air is filled with the aroma of ginger, cardamom, cumin, turmmeric and cloves. After sightseeing, back to hotel for check-out and then leave for Periyar by surface drive and upon arrival, check-in at hotel. Rest of the afternoon free at leisure to visit the spice, rubber plantations etc. Back to hotel for overnight at hotel.

Day11: Periyar/MaduraiCultural Trip Agra Jaipur
After breakfast, proceed for boat cruise on Lake Periyar: Periyar and its cool, mistyCardamom Hills- a magnificently scenic 4000 feet and higher, with forest and valley, roaring streams and pristine jungles. Arrive at Periyar Wildlife Sactuary, one of India's first Project Tiger Reserved and an excellent place to view elephant and many other animals.
A rewarding afternoon has you viewing wildlife by boat on Lake Periyar Where animals come to drink. Sail within close range of elephant groups, feeding and bathing. Scout for statuesque deer and gaint wild oxen, or guar, browsing in the marshes. Search green wooded shores for wild boars, monkeys, and an array of birdlife. If you are lucky, you will get a rare sighting of tiger. Spend the night in splendid isolation at your comfortable jungle cottage.
After the boat cruise, back to thhe hotel for check-out. After check-out, drive to Madurai (aprox 160kms/4hrs) and upon arrival, check-in at hotel.

Day12: MaduraiCultural Trip Agra Jaipur
After breakfast, Madurai city: Madurai is one of the oldest cities of Southern India. It has been a centre of pilgrimage, for centuries. The Meenakshi temple, the mail architectural attraction here, is an excellent example of Dravidian architecture, with gopurams, animals and mythical figures. However, besides the temple, our tour includes a walk along the main street leaing to the temple. The well-organized confusion caused by pilgrims in traditional clothes, pavements shops of all shades, holy men in robes of different colours etc add an unmistakable colour and atmosphere to this fascinating Temple City.
Afternoon, free for shopping/independent activities.

Day13: Maduarai/Chennai Flight
Following breakfast transfer to airport for your flight to Chennai Upon arrival you will met and transferred to you hotel. Check-in at hotel. Afternoon,

visit Chennai City: Typical Indian City, it's the capital of Tamil Nadu. Though it was the oldest settlement of the British, Madras remained unaffected ib spirit. Only the cathedral and the Fort St. George are a reminder of its British past. Visit the Marina Beach-second longest beach in the world, it's an elegant promenade; Fort St. George- the first foothold of British from where Robert Clives started the expansion of British Rule.

Day14: Depart Chennai
Later in time transfer to airport for your onward destination.
